Description

Provide a short description of the event and its activities.

The event was realized as a series of activities carried out over three days. Activities can be sorted by topic into groups:

• Activities 'What´s next?' – activities focused on discussing the current themes, discussions
• Activities supporting an international dialogue – activities focused on presentation of culture and cultural diversity of Europe
• Activities connected with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic – activities focused on discussions, exchange of experience and seeking solutions for municipalities and civil society in the post-Covid era
• Activities raising the awareness of the EU – activities focused on workshops and discussions about the future of the EU, European values and knowing the EU

The implemented activities of the project were as follows:

Opening ceremony, presentation of the project, media report – During this activity project was presented, its goals, and planned results and outputs. The CERV Programme was also presented in short as well as the financial support to the project by the EU.

What´s next, COVID-19? - a workshop with the partner representatives on the measures introduced during the pandemic- The activity was focused on a mutual discussion, presentation and exchange of good practices with dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic at the local level.

Solidarity among nations - a forum of mutual cooperation among the present nations. The activity was about presentation of the existing partnership, mutual projects and potential spheres of cooperation.

An exhibition 'Life during the pandemic' - an author exhibition focused on the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences.

Evening of meetings         - activity was about mutual communication and interaction among participants from 4 EU countries.

Opening a European information stand - promoting souvenirs about the EU from EuropeDirect were at the stand. We encouraged citizens to learn something new about the EU.

Children and the EU - interactive games for children. It was about fun education about the EU (playing pairs with the theme of the EU, puzzles, colouring flags of the EU member states etc.).

Gastronomy of nations - communication and mutual presentation of gastronomic peculiarities of present nations.

Creative workshops for children and adults - free time activity devoted to fun, concentration and creation.

What´s next, Europe? - a discussion with EuropeDirect about the future of Europe. The discussion was focused on seeking solutions for the future of Europe.

Cultural performances of the partner municipalities - presentation of cultural diversity of the partnership and the EU.

Evening of interaction for children and their parents - providing children-friendly space for parents and children from four different countries.

Dance evening - mutual communication and interaction among participants from 4 EU countries.

Holy Mass - involvement of a religious element in the process of overcoming prejudices and breaking barriers.

What´s next, youth? - a workshop about solidarity, tolerance, and discrimination to the young. Young Europeans were informed about the European values of solidarity, tolerance and non-discrimination.

A civil sphere - a presentation of voluntary and non-governmental organizations from the partner municipalities.

Club of seniors – active ageing, an exchange of experience - presentation and discussion about the themes worrying seniors from four countries will be prepared.
